Can the bin arrive before you start loading?
Start with the date you want to work, not an assumed delivery slot. If everyone is ready early Saturday, ask whether an earlier delivery can be arranged. If that is unavailable, compare another loading window before committing helpers or contractors.
Give us your Oshawa delivery address, the main items and your preferred weekend. Mention any hard deadline, such as a moving truck arriving or losing access to the property. A call or text starts an availability check; it does not reserve a bin by itself.
What could a Friday-to-Monday plan look like?
Use this as a planning example, not a published delivery schedule or rental package. Change each stage to match the dates confirmed for your booking. Keeping preparation outside the main loading window leaves more of the weekend for the actual clearout.

Choose a clear finish line for the weekend
Pick a defined job, such as the already-sorted garage contents, rather than promising to clear the entire house. Keep a second list for optional tasks. If the first job uses the available time or agreed capacity, the optional list can wait.
A good plan also names who will carry the awkward items. This is a self-loading rental, not an in-home carrying service. Do not leave the heaviest piece until your helpers have gone. CCOHS identifies fatigue and repetition as lifting risks and recommends breaks and clear walking routes.

Will the bin and other weekend plans share a driveway?
Think beyond the empty bin's footprint. You may still need space for household cars, visitors or another delivery while it is present. Discuss the proposed position and truck access before booking, including shared driveways, gates and overhead obstructions.
If the proposed position involves the road allowance, check the City of Oshawa's road occupancy process early. The City lists advance application requirements; a Friday enquiry is not evidence that public-space placement is approved for Saturday. Our placement guide explains what to discuss.
What if the weekend does not go to plan?
Before booking, ask how to report a delay and when a change request needs to be made. Do not assume a Sunday message changes Monday's collection. If rain, missing help or extra sorting puts the plan behind, contact Bin and Gone as soon as the issue is clear.
Explain what remains and the extra time you are requesting. An extension or different collection date needs confirmation.
