Are both quotes for the same project?

What should you write beside each quote?

Is it a final amount, an estimate or a deposit?

Ask what the quoted figure represents. If any part depends on the collected load, ask how that part is calculated and when it becomes known. Keep the answer with the quote, rather than relying on a headline that describes a different material or rental period.

Compare confirmed totals where the scope matches. Where a charge is conditional, record the condition and rate instead of inventing a likely final total. A lower initial payment is not enough information to decide which offer covers your project better.

Ask about material-specific handling before booking. An appliance, mattress or dense renovation material should not quietly become part of a quote for ordinary household clutter. Check the material planning guide and include those items in the enquiry.

Does the allowance match what you will load?

Record volume and weight separately. The EPA's material conversion reference uses different volume-to-weight estimates for different waste materials. It illustrates why equal-sized piles do not establish equal weight; it does not set a Canadian rental allowance.

For your quote, the relevant figures are the allowance and loading limits confirmed by the supplier. Ask for the units, how weight is established and what happens if your material list changes. What happens if access or the dates change?

Check the procedure before you need it. Ask how to request more time, change delivery or report a blocked collection route. Write down the contact method and any confirmed notice requirements. Another supplier's terms are not Bin and Gone's terms.
